We have been lucky enough to have Kristen as our daycare/preschool provider for both of our boys since they were one, and one of them is now off to elementary school. I truly don’t know what we would have done without her. Both of my kids have learned so much and gained tremendous confidence during their time there. Kristen plans so many details – the details I often have no time or energy to do – and the kids love it. With a pre-school curriculum offered, the kids get to participate in themed weeks, crafts, games, educational activities, personalized learning plans and receive endless encouragement. They eat (and get to make!) nutritious foods, get plenty of exercise and fresh air outside on their nature walks and seem to genuinely respect and care for the friends they have made there. When I pick up my kids, they never want to leave and now that I have one in Kindergarten, he always asks when he can go back - I think that sums it up perfectly. We couldn’t be more thankful and grateful for our opportunity to have our kids at this daycare, and it will be sad when we have officially outgrown it.

Kristen does an amazing job with these kids. Our daughter has been at Happy Health Kids since she was 11 weeks old and is now 3. It is the hardest thing to leave your precious child with a complete stranger, especially in our case – our daughter was so small but within days of her starting here, we knew our little one was in good, safe hands.  Happy Health Kids is a wonderful balance of outdoor play and indoor learning. The children spend their days in a combination of outdoor learning experiences with nature and indoor school and circle time. This is not the daycare where little girls wear dresses and fancy outfits. One of the favorite activities on a rainy day is to put on their rain jackets and rain boots and go outside and puddle jump.
We feel our daughter will be well prepared for kindergarten when the time comes both socially and academically. If this is any indication of an outstanding daycare – there is rarely an opening. Once the children start at Happy Healthy Kids, the majority stay until they are off to Kindergarten.
I cannot recommend highly enough.
